The last time we saw Jackson, he was just 5 days old! So I was really excited when Ashley contacted us about photographing their family again – I was dyinggg to see how he’d grown! …And oh my goodness – Jackson is such a happy, handsome little man! So cute!!

It was also really fun to see how Ashley + Austin had grown as parents in the last year – no longer the slightly anxious new parents they were the last time we saw them! :)

We have been spending a ridiculous amount of time working on our new website (coming soon! yay!)  So I wanted to take a quick break to post a few images from a recent fall session today.

We first met this adorably feisty family last spring…and they quickly became one of my faves! Brendon + John are really creative and hilarious kids. And Toni…is just awesome! She’s really fun and down to earth – I love her! I always look forward to her emails, so I was really excited when she contacted us about helping surprise her husband with a few photos of the kids for Christmas. (So sweet!) She dragged both boys to Fayetteville for a secret playdate with me and we had a really fun afternoon.

This was also the last time we’d be hanging out with the M. family…because they’ve recently moved to Hawaii. (Jealous!)

The last time we saw these kids, John was still a cute little immobile baby. I knew he’d be walking by now, but for some reason I was expecting a slow and wobbly toddler. Not so, my friends! That little guy can run…and he’s pretty fast! So when you combine him and his much faster brother – oh my goodness! This session was so much crazy and fun all at once. :)

And we were pretty excited that one of our favorite children’s photography blogs, The Indie Tot shared Adrian & Jason’s fall maternity session recently. Adrian & Jason are one of the sweetest couple’s ever…and they welcomed the CUTEST little boy into their family a few days after this session! :)

We met up with Michelle + Chris (and Meli!) for a really quick couple session along the Cape Fear River in the fall. And oh my goodness – I absolutely loved these two! (…And I was ready to proclaim Michelle my new best friend  as we bonded over our mutual love for RuPaul, haha.) Michelle and Chris celebrated their one year anniversary over the summer…and aren’t they the most adorable couple ever?!  Thanks for hanging out with us, guys!
